In the photos below, Lancaster EMS oversees the Firefighter Rehab Area for more than 50 firefighters at a June 26th Training Burn in Lancaster. Lancaster EMS and Fire Department have established a formal incident rehabilitation program to ensure that firefighters are evaluated for heat stress, take an adequate rest period, and are properly hydrated before returning to duty during training exercises or extended emergency calls.
