LEMS Ride-Along Program
Lancaster EMS offers a Ride-Along Program. Anyone that is potentially interested in membership as a driver or EMT and wants to learn more about the ambulance can request to participate in our Ride-Along Program.
Ride-Along participants must be 16 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to co-sign the release forms. Ride-Along participants are never involved in patient care and treatment, regardless of medical certification. The participants are there strictly as observers and are not expected, obligated, or needed to assist in patient care under any circumstances. Participants must sign a confidentiality agreement since all medical calls are strictly confidential.
